Will come here again just solely for their matcha latte.

Love love loved their cappuccino here. It’s not on the bitter side and the smooth milky foam blends well the their coffee.

Located at the edge of SS15 is HYPE Concept Cafe, a zen spot decked out in cool concrete. This lovely tea bar is the perfect hideout for those looking for a quiet space to read or relax. T2 tea from Australia is served, specially brewed to its respective type’s specifications to produce the perfect pot of tea for each order. For a spa-like experience, order a calming pot of Lemongrass and Ginger Tea (RM10), or try their signature Chai Tea (RM12). If you're feeling peckish, take a peek at the cakes and pastries lined up in their display, ranging from RM10-13 per piece. These sweet treats will change from time to time, but you can always keep a lookout for what’s available on their Facebook page!

This was RM14, if I was not mistaken. I personally prefer coffee over tea, but my friends wanted to try out this place so I tagged along. My toilet trips after this visit to Hype Concept.. I swear.

I didn't want the usual tea I could get anywhere, so I decided to try something fruity. My friend had the chai tea, which tasted weird to me, or I'm just a coffee person.

I loved the teapots! We were seated near the counter so I had a good look at the teapots. I love how teapots these days are two in one, or have they always been that way?

It was possible to refill my pot, but we are rushing somewhere so our tea time were cut short. Finally, a legit tea time in a tea shop 😅

Not a fan of coffee? This new cafe in SS15, Subang Jaya focuses on tea rather the typical coffee. You'll not find coffee on the menu so if you're up for a place that serves a variety of teas ranging from mango sencha to chai tea, this tea lab is your spot! As if this concept isn't hipster enough, they also have tea pots with abstract art on them for you artsy fartsy ones. The best time to visit would be when it's raining outside while you're all warm and cosy indoors. Go for the sencha green tea flavoured with dried strawberries (RM12 per pot) for something fruity and refreshing!

Hype Concept might be a quiet place to have tea (or bland green tea), but if a good piece of chocolate cake made with ze artisan's touch is what you're looking for, turn your backs and walk away. The chocolate fever was dense, hard and compact like how it looks. Like a vacum packed chocolate mousse with no air for a breath at all. Granted, the cafe gets their cakes from god knows where, and I was told to try the purple potato cake thingy majiggy.

Well at least I know chocolate cake here is a no go :(
