Apparently a new item at #Santouka Ramen. I'm starting to bore myself with choices of food. And these noodles are not worth the effort. Apparently you have to chopstick a few strands and dip it into the "sauce" and eat it. They even have instructions for each table—Which is actually awesome for people like me who always wait for other's to eat first so I know how to eat the food properly. 😕. The sauce is super salty as per Santouka's standard. But… it comes with free green tea ice cream, so can't complain 😝. #Ramen #SantoukaRamen
The signature dish at Ramen Santouka is the Tokusen Toroniku Ramen. What makes it so special is the cut of chashu used - the cheek. These pork cheeks are extremely tender and hold plenty of flavour. As they only serve a limited number of these each day, be sure to get there early to avoid disappointment. The cheeks' melt-in-your-mouth texture is sure to leave you wanting more.
