Smooth, velvety yam paste enveloping flavoursome, melt-in-the-mouth beef stew, then deep-fried. It is literally an explosion in your mouth as you bite into its crisp exterior and the gooey interior starts to flow. That burst. Ok, that's all.
The sliced beef noodle in Chinese herbal soup is really nice and special. The beef is tender and the soup is rich, only $9.90.
The bf said this was ok! Jock lam beef noodles on China street is a personal fav. Chanced upon the ion outlet and gave it a try....... They changed their recipe a little. Their meatballs are a lot more peppery... Prefer the old recipe. Still good but not as good as before
Well, I kind of missed the good old taste when the noodles was really piping hot, and sauce gooey and tasty. It's almost there, but not quite there yet.
Had some atas sliced ribeye beef noodles. But still prefer scotts Hwa Heng Beef Noodles. In my humble opinion, some businesses should just stay traditional.
