Saw quite a number of Korean patrons during our meal tonight. Jjampong was quite friendly in terms of spiciness. Their Korean fried chicken was delicious, although the soy sauce would appeal more to those preferring saltish taste. Their menu also spanned across grills and stews, particularly their signature pork rib stew and Samgye-Tang which attracted us most.
A place for Korean dining with a peaceful environment, the price tags tend to be higher compared to other more mainstream Korean joints.
The cosy restaurant was packed with locals even before 6pm when we arrived - a good indication of its authenticity. We thoroughly enjoyed the piping hot Gamja Tang Signature pork rib stew ($46) which was deliciously flavourful and rich #burpple

look at those fat scallops!! β‘β‘β‘ this new place seems to have replaced the old store - your woul. thought tht the menu became more extensive now; with alot of dishes tht you dont usually see elsewhere.
