A fantastic and lovely afternoon of sharing and gathering of great wines of Yalumba! Really an enlightened afternoon of tasting those gorgeous wines made from the South Australia of Eden Valley, the Barossa Valley and Coonawarra and also getting to know more of its facilities in Yalumba winery.. They have their own cooperage and nursery! I do love their Viognier which is from Eden Valley that is made with stainless tanks and incorporating some wild yeast that just gives it more texture, lovely peaches, guava and grapefruit and the buttery aftertaste that you get on the palate which is an excellent choice to have with Salmon! Their red that I personally adore is The Cigar which is actually ageing in those French barriques that helps to soften its harsh tannins and mellow down their robust character to be create an elegant yet rich with ripe and dried red plums and cherry that is well associated with Cabernet Sauvignon alongside its really silky and fine tannins that is such a pleasant surprise on the palate 😍😘❤️
