No more avocado but here's a light durian ice cream!
Harvest Ice Cream did away with their avocado and rock melon soft serves some time back, and created this durian softserve (S$2.50) as their new product. It's creamy (kind of like eating a MSW durian) and did not seem to melt that quickly as compared to their first batch of flavours, but somehow the durian taste is a little light if you'd ask me. Then again, if their flavours are 100% natural, I think this would be a good treat amidst this warm day out.
The new menu has completely do away with Rock Melon soft serve 😠but I still enjoy the Pineapple Float with freshly squeezed pineapple juice and very generous portion of vanilla soft serve. 😋
Boo, they ran out of vanilla ($1), so I went for the chocolate ($1.50). It definitely tastes better than your run of the mill, artificial tasting chocolate. But would I specially make a trip down here to eat this? Nah.
Probably would for the avocado one but they seem to have taken it off the menu 😔
$2 for avocado ice cream and you can find the store near the entrance of chinatown mrt! Quite nice but wish that the avocado taste is stronger. I think they have more flavours available now!

Third time missing the Rock Melon Softserve that I've been eyeing on since it was introduced, but this time round, the softserve menu has fully changed to Vanilla ($1), Chocolate ($1.50) and Strawberry ($1.50). For this affordable price, there's really nothing much to pick on although I wouldn't rave about it as much as its popular Avocado Softserve. Similar to Harvest's other offerings, I like that it's not cloyingly sweet. It wouldn't be something I would crave for but it will still remain a nice convenient option on those crazy hot days. I'm just hoping that the Avocado and Rock Melon flavours are only temporarily absent! #BurppleCheapNGood
