Ha-Oh Hototogisu (Paragon)

3.75⭐ As we were not feeling very hungry, decided to have something light for dinner. Passed by the ramen shop before and we made a mental note to dine here. Each of us ordered a ramen and WB topped up his meal with gyozas. Decided to try their shoyu ramen as it's their top ramen broth, I usually prefer tonkotsu broth as I find Shoyu broth saltier. To my surprise, the broth is savoury and not salty, and the noodles used are those thinner noodles. WB also praise the crab ramen he had.

Flavour not in depth, broth was thick and salty but something was missing. A waste, considering how everything went well together.

This ramen tastes different from other ramen places, but in a good way! It has the right balance of umami and spice. I’m really glad to have tried this place out.
