My favourite amongst those I tried. It's very different from Singapore's version. If you like sour stuff, you'll probably like it. The small bowl costs RM4.
From top left clockwise: Rojak (RM4), Orh Lua (RM10), Char Koay Teow (RM6), & Curry Mee (RM5). Think the food here is somewhat overrated? I like the rojak the most. Penang's char koay teow is not sweet so it tastes like those you can get from the economic noodles stall in Singapore. The curry mee had lots of ingredients but the curry wasn't fragrant. It basically just tastes like chili noodles.
A different take the singapore version with a larger variety of fish cakes, fritters & even huge fried sotongs, yummy, but would have been better if they bothered to refry the items so they're served hot. RM15 for this huge plate
Freshly squeezed juice + awesome fried oysters. A very generous portion of oysters
Actually this Gurney Drive Hawker Center got (so) many food stall! And it's cheap-er than KL! Their specialist is char kueh tiauw, asam laksa, lok lok, seafood, and then this! Rojak! This is some fries, like shrimp, fishball, sotong, many kind la, you pick by yourself anything that you want and then give it to the "abang" and let them cut it and count the price for you! You also need to try asam laksa and thei char kueh tiauw since there are so many char kueh tiauw stall!
Not sure why but somehow only they can do it right..
