Served pipping hot, this was adequately spicy. Would have loved more veggies in it though
A hearty broth on a cold rainy evening. This was so comforting and good! Especially post a tiring travel day
Stumbled upon this newly opened place on a work trip. Thick and tasty kimchi stew with tuna (first time I've had this combo and it works surprisingly well). The manager was really friendly too; offering drinks to those in the queue and took initiative to check on orders when he noticed it was taking too long (didn't even have to ask, now that's what I call service!)
A tiny bowl of sesame mochi, crumble, Berry compote, bits of chocolate and evaporated milk. Interesting and tasty combination!
Mad love for the samba seabass. Delectable sambal that wasn't too spicy and tender, fresh seabass fillet, served with chives and a boiled egg. Also couldn't resist ordering the radish cake with scrambled eggs which tasted pretty unusual but still fab. The radish cake was denser than the usual ones and coated in coca cola sauce, topped with non creamy scrambled eggs and chicken floss.
Breakfast for dinner! Had the sausage changed to baked beans as I was just tired of sausages. Everything was good on this plate! Generous portions at decent prices. Cakes looked really good too, but we were stuffed. Will probably be back here again soon!
My favourite part of this dish - the southern biscuit. Crisp, savoury & slightly sweet, with that lovely buttermilk flavour. Unfortunately, the rest were a bit of a let down - fried chicken thigh, really juicy but lacked flavour, scrambled eggs felt like eating cream & potatoes were alright; just loads of fried on one plate.
Chocolate sponge, layered with malted cream & caramel. Really liked this cake, moist & creamy but not cloyingly so, + not too sweet either.
Fish was a tad overfried but the carrot soup was Good! And salads at this place are typically fab!
Liked the unagi but sushi wasn't exactly fresh. Not somewhere I'd return to again.
Spotted this and can't resist anything yam! Especially a cake that has real yam cubes in it. Surprisingly not too sweet or creamy too! Just stuffed full of tiny yam cubes and a light vanilla sponge.
