Another hot rice bowl outlet. The difference with this one? It’s menu is very much Asian. You can either choose from their signature combos or build your own.
I opted to build my own with The Ordinary, which is the medium sized bowl. This size comes with 1 base, 3 mains, 3 toppings and 1 sauce.
The dishes were very fragrant, which prompted my colleagues to ask what I had. Taste wise, it didn’t disappoint.
This is RM18.
It’s hard to snap a decent photo of this dish but we’ll move on and talk about how tasty it is. There’s quinoa, ikan bakar, Thai-styled steamed squid, sambal ikan bilis and more, and it felt like I was eating nasi campur at a local shop. I loved how authentic the flavours are and knowing that I’m eating nothing more than 240 calories – yay!
Good Monster is a new poke/salad bowl takeaway concept in Mid Valley that serves familiar local flavours in a healthy manner. Above is The Zen that comes with buckwheat soba, salted egg monkey head mushroom, avocado kerabu and more. The flavours are excellent. Everything stood out on its own and at the same time, works well together. One thing I’d change is the packaging and it was really hard to eat out of this food box.
There’s a new healthy eats in town! Whether you’re a vegan, pescatarian, meat lover or on a Keri diet, there’s always something Good Monster can offer for everyone. They serve pretty good Malaysian influenced wholesome food for take away. The Petit Monster comes with a choice of base, 2 mains, 2 toppings and a sauce which they pack it separately so you could control how much sauce you want in your meal. I recommend to go with a Beetroot couscous, rendang Monkeyhead Mushroom, Thai style steamed squid, pumpkin floss, Sabah seaweed kerabu and sambal hijau. Price for petit monster starts from RM13.
