It’s been ages since our last visit to West Mall and we were glad to discover many new eateries at basement 1 after the major renovation. 🤍
We popped by Gochiya to try their Weekday Lunch Promo, featuring Chestnut Collar Set and Hamburg & Chicken Set. Served on individual hot plates, we got to turn up the heat ourselves and let the meats sizzle right at the table. 🤩 Each set came with silky ikura chawanmushi, steamy hot Kama cooked rice, medley of roasted vegetables and a choice between mushroom cream sauce or black pepper sauce.
I’m happy to report that the pork collar, hamburg and chicken chop were cooked just right — tender, juicy, and full of flavour, despite my novice cooking skills. And the best part? The variety of condiments! I happily sprinkled lots of pink Himalayan salt on all my meats and vegetables! 😉
