Lastly, we ordered Lamb Shank Kritharoto ($50.80) which is a sharing platter consisting of lamb shank and orzo pasta. The tender lamb shank is pretty gamy at first but I got used to it after a while. This is also my first time trying orzo pasta, which is a short-cut pasta shaped like a grain of rice. The pasta absorbs the flavour of the lamb completely and it is rich, tasty and deceptively filling. Although it is quite salty, the saltiness does help to counter the gaminess. Would recommend this if you are a lamb lover!
We also had Htapodaki ($27.80) which is charcoal grilled octopus that has been marinated and sous-vide for 4 hours, and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and oregano. The octopus is a little chewy but still very fragrant and tasty.
I love that there are so many eggplant dishes to choose fromπ! We had Imam Baildi ($18.80) which are mini eggplants cooked in a rich tomato sauce. The eggplants are topped with crumbled feta and a drizzle of garlic & parsley olive oil. The eggplant is soft, flavourful and absolutely delicious. Eggcellentπ!
The Seafood Kritharoto from @fotiagreek was a winner for me! The orzo pasta was cooked perfectly, and flavoured really well with the rich lobster bisque. Would have been perfect if there was slightly more seafood, but otherwise the flavours were excellent. #burpple #greek #greekfood #orzo #seafood #lobs
We ordered the Greek salad, chicken and beef skewers, mousaka and baklava for dessert. Portion was just nice for 2 pax. Mousaka was delicious, best eaten hot. Greek salad was refreshing. Paired well with meats in the meal. Baklava was alright.
Cosy place for dinner.
Tried something different. I normally like cold drinks, tried the cappuccino here.
Greek coffee was surprisingly good and the vibe here at fotia was relaxed.
must try 4 stars
Love the juicy sweet cherry tomatoes and how fresh every component tasted in that light salad dressing - olive oil and herbs
Grilled chicken, grilled beef, pita with 2 dips - tzatziki & tirokafteri and fried potatoes. Meats are well seasoned and grilled to perfection. Loved the pita and the dips. This platter comes with 2 dips of very different flavor profile. The tirokafteri is a creamy spicy feta cheese dip, while the tzatziki is a more refreshing one made from strained yoghurt and cucumber. This is perfect for sharing! Add on a salad to make it a complete meal π
Skewers of sorts, this was prefect if you want to try a bit of everything. I love the meats here. Well executed - the beef, we had requested for medium rare and mamma mia, it came out just as we had ordered. So good and juicy. Those potatoes are evil. Pure evil. So addictive that once you start you canβt stop. Donβt say I didnβt warn you.
Traditional Greek rolled baklava with pistachio biscuit and homemade ice cream
Charcoal grilled octopus skewer
Perfectly charred, soft and tender, slightly chewy in a good way, just the right texture for octopus that I liked. A little on the pricey side?
Crispy kataifi pastry filled with sift cheese, soaked in syrup | $15.80
This had to be my favourite part of dinner. However, please share this with your dinner companions as it is extremely sweet.

Their baby #lamb was great. If you are feeling like a Mary, order it. Link in bio!
