Had a lovely dinner at Meadesmoore! We tried three different steak cuts—each one was incredibly tender and full of flavor. You could really taste the quality. The burrata with fresh tomatoes was super refreshing and paired so well with everything else.
We also had a roasted saffron cauliflower side that was unexpectedly delicious—it added a nice pop of flavor to the meal. Ended things on a sweet note with a pavlova-style dessert that was light and just sweet enough.
Service was great, and the cozy atmosphere made it a really enjoyable night. Definitely planning to come back!
One of the better orh luaks I’ve had in a while! The oyster omelette nails the smoky wok hei. The oysters were relatively huge, fresh, and plump, which made each bite juicy and rich. Loved the contrast between the crispy edges of the egg and the gooey, chewy starch batter. The chilli was tangy with a nice kick, cutting through the richness perfectly. Definitely worth the wait 》$5
Ingleside delivers a great modern European experience with a focus on wood fire cooking and fermentation. Service was excellent—we were welcomed with wet towels and a super helpful waiter who explained their techniques in detail.
We started with the Hokkaido scallops, cured in kombu with pickled green apple, finger lime, herb oil, and a fermented tomato dressing. Super fresh, bright, and well-balanced.
For mains, we had the Tajima MBS 6-7 Wagyu Picanha, marinated in shio koji and grilled over wood fire. It came with a slow-roasted banana shallot that added a nice earthy depth. The beef was tender, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly.
Ingleside is a great pick if you’re into bold, thoughtful food with smoky, fermented touches. Definitely worth checking out.
This Hokkien mee is pretty tasty, though the portion’s a bit small. Noodles had good flavour, but the prawns were slightly tough and not very fresh. Comes with sambal and chilli padi for extra kick. Short queue, but the wait was surprisingly long. Decent, but not super memorable.
To end the meal on a fun note, you can get their DIY S’mores Kit ($9.80) for some barbecue fun that will surely bring back childhood memories. Kit got chocolate and butter biscuit too.
Weekend treat vibes only!
Woah, totally ❤️ these soft, fluffy mini (but honestly not-so-mini) pancakes [a.k.a. min jiang kueh] oozing with crushed peanuts + creamy peanut butter 🥜 as well as sweet grated coconut 🥥. Warm, gooey and so generously filled.
P.S. Yay! The air-con is switched on too. ❄️

I had a delicious bowl of mee sua that was well-soaked in a flavourful broth filled with herbal goodness. The pork slices were generous and lean, and the texture of the mee sua was silky smooth without being too mushy even after sitting in the soup for some time. It was a satisfying and hearty meal with every bite being full of meaty and herbal flavours 》$4.50
Their signature fish burger gave pure pleasure with every bite. The batter was perfectly crisp, with a juicy fish fillet, and served with an amazing sauce, all in a romantically lit atmosphere.
Tucked away in a quiet corner, Ingleside delivers a fine dining experience that feels both intimate and elevated. The service is warm without being overbearing, and every dish is thoughtfully plated and full of flavour. Highlights included the seared scallops — perfectly cooked — and a tender beef short rib that melted in the mouth. The desserts were light but indulgent, especially the citrus tart. Prices reflect the quality, but it’s well worth it for a special night out. Understated elegance done right.
Seng House offers a delicious burger with a perfectly cooked, juicy patty and toasted buns. Topped with melted cheese, caramelized onions, fresh lettuce, and tangy pickles, the burger is flavorful and well-balanced. Accompanied by crispy fries, it’s a satisfying and enjoyable meal worth trying.
