An interesting take on a traditional dish: though comprising the same ingredients of egg and tofu, the overall taste and feel is almost entirely different from what Iโm used to. The deep fried sheets of egg behave almost like a sponge, absorbing and being completely saturated with a cloyingly sweet type of gravy that borders on being overwhelming... as such, I much prefer the dryer and more savoury version! The thick peanut sauce managed to mask the sweet taste at least. On a side note, crackers were stale and not crisp ๐
