Although it is always a swell time when I get to stuff my face with carbs, I really enjoyed Cenzo’s Shellfish Risotto, Prawns, Chili ($28). I dare say it is one of the best that I had. Served with two wonderfully charred tiger prawns, the plump grains managed to absorb all the rich, sublime flavours of the sea - the shellfish broth must be stellar. The smokiness and hits of umami sealed the deal for me. The creamy texture, the light touch of chilli oil and the zesty aftertaste was so good too - making it luxe yet not overly cloying.
