Known for their dessert menu which changes depending on the ongoing exhibitions, it seems the one staple that remains popular no matter the season is the ondeh ondeh cake. Sandwiched between aromatic layers of fluffy pandan sponge, the generous spread of gula melaka provides both sweetness and crunch - a truly on point tribute to ondeh ondeh! However, I felt that the bland cream coating the exterior added a sickly fullness that stuck to the tongue and detracted from the overall taste. This cake can be enjoyed as it is, but thereโ€™s certainly room for improvement! ๐Ÿ˜Š
