The one stall that eluded me the last time when I visited Tiong Bahru Market (it was closed) and this time round it shot right up to my most anticipated list prior to joining the Burpple Tastemakers to uncover the gems in this hawker centre.

Fortunately, the stall was opened that day and I made a beeline for it, ordering a variety of fishballs and fishcakes that amounted to $7, which was absolutely well worth it.

As you walk towards the stall, it is like a shining beacon of fishball heaven that you will not regret ordering. With many varieties available, your best bet would be to just ask the stall-owners to pick a mixture for you. Made from fresh fish paste, you will experience the “Q”-ness from each bite and the flavours from each bite is just pure bliss.
