Good bites, which is also opened by the Citrus group, serves similar food as that at citrus by the pool. Interestingly, both are located right next to a sports hall/swimming complex! Good bites is at bishan sports hall. The food here is quite affordable! Set meals start from $9.9 and includes a salad/mushroom soup (additional $1 for soup) and drink. The teriyaki chicken pasta came with such a huge portion of chicken meat we were shocked! The meat was juicy, not dry at all. The laksa pasta (additional $2 for the set meal) came with fishcake (we thought it was otah and got disappointed lol), beancurd, egg and prawns! The laksa sauce was slightly too salty for me though. Ordered the mushroom soup as we loved the one we had at citrus by the pool. But the portion here was quite small though (or perhaps the bowl was jus overly too big!) Tried the apple crumble ($7.9) as well, but it turned out diff from what we expected. It was served in a cup and it was entirely made up of stewed apples + crumbles + vanilla ice cream. I was expecting an apple crumble like Han's cafe which comes with a tart-y base haha. The interior here was super pretty with marble printed tables + cushy chairs! The cafe from the outside also reminds me of those 'rooftop houses' as seen in kdrama... Very homely feeling! #xindots #xindots_sg #goodbitessg
