People no longer descend on Luke’s Lobster like mobsters! The Q here can at times be up to 2 hours! Taking advantage of a freak moment at 11:30 am on a Sunday when there was NO ONE queuing, we went in. We each had a ‘trio’ and a lobster bisque. The lobster roll was above average; the crab was a bit overwhelmed by the taste of the butter spread; my partner says the shrimp roll is not as satisfying as the seafood ciabatta at Délifrance! The bisque was good but minuscule for an outrageous $12.90++. At over $50 per pax, we were still hungry, so went to the Food Republic food court in the basement for noodle soup and chicken wings at $5 per pax. The location for this outlet is also wrong. Tai Tai’s may fork out such an amount to sit in the middle of a lobby at ION Orchard, but not in a corner of a department store with zero privacy, little comfort, and no Diet Coke!
