Nasi Ambeng for 2 - 3 pax ($17). Great variety of meat and fish dishes. Rendang the star. Tender pieces of beef with good depths of spice. Achar very fresh and crunchy. The squid a little disappointing but nevertheless still tender - just 'too fishy' for my tastes. Takeaway dulang available too for $6 refundable deposit (for the tray).
Nasi Ambeng ($22.50 for 3 pax)
This plate is chock full of everything you want to point at when you visit a nasi padang stall so why not just order everything right? This is my 2nd time having nasi ambeng and I must say that it is growing to become one of my favourite staples (only cos I'm greedy like that 😂)!
I really loved almost all the selections on this plate. Attacked the begedil first since that is my all time favourite. Super yummy with the chilli provided. The beef rendang was super soft and moist, the sambal sotong had the perfect balance of spicy and sweet. My favourite here was the brinjal🍆. Adorned with the belacan, this was chanting 'eat me'! 🙌🏼 Even the plain rice tasted good since fried coconut flakes and shallots were sprinkled over it to give you that lemak feel!
A huge tray that can easily feed up to 5 pax, you get the best of all the worlds by sharing & feasting together! Thanks to @juliuslim on his #TastyTastemakerTour, I got to learn about Enak during our tour around Bedok! Much love to @burpple for including us in this instillation of TTT!
A great way of sharing food with friends and family or if you are feeling hungry, this is the plate for you.

Quite Decent but well, it only $5.50. #nasiambang #java #foodporn #igsg #sgig #foodphotography #foodgram #instafood #sgfoodie #daily #싱가포르 #singapore #foodie #daily #enak #bedok #sgeat #foodpornsg #foodinfluencer #foodblogger #influencer #burpplesg #burpple
At Enak, is definitely to order the $5.50 Nasi Ambeng – a traditional and authentic Javanese feast served in a platter. For that price, you get steamed rice surrounded by some of Indonesia’s greatest hits: beef rendang, sambal goreng, bergedil (potato patty), achar (pickled vegetables), terung (spicy brinjal), serunding (grated coconut) and an excellent sambal belancan.
