[CLOSED] Durian Kaki (Junction Nine)

Once you had the best, you cant go back to less than the best. Durian kaki never disappoints with their Mao Shan Wang. Good service and quality of durian guaranteed. Definitely recommend.

Walked past this shop which had a queue forming and since it’s the durian season, I joined the queue as well. Wanted to get the Black Thorn initially but it was OOS unless you reserved beforehand. No choice, had to go with the MSW instead. Price was ard $19/kg.

The MSW wasn’t very bitter and the portion can feed 3 pax.

Bought 3 D24. 2 out of 3 tasted really good! 1 was not that great. Their service is pretty good though. Can try their durians during the season. Quality guaranteed.

Honestly, I don’t fancy durian as much as other would crave and fight during the seasonal period. I had a piece of this only before it was freshly baked by my friend @jaydenkohjh who is currently the pastry chef of this vendor, with no regrets! This don’t look like much but I was blown away by the intense flavour of the king of fruit and this is definitely not made by those “cheap” puree. I was damn impressed with the generous amount of filling in the puff. These pack of 6 would only cost SGD 15. Totally worth it! 👍🏻
