The kind of softness and consistency that facilitates the graceful, clean cutting with a fork and the subsequent travel of said cake into one's mouth in one smooth, fluid and glamorous motion, so ideal for having on dates and girlfriend chat sessions. Adore the little apple bits in each bite! Speculoos is currently the new truffle in terms of how it's popping up everywhere but I'm all for it. 4/5

Newly opened in Orchid Hotel is Drizzle N Frost, a cafe specialising in cupcakes perfect for a sweet mid-day pick-me-up. Flavours range from Rochertella, and Tipsy Geisha (matcha with sake frosting) to earl grey lavender and carrot speculoos. Prices of these little beauties start from $4 for one to $22.50 for box of 6. If cupcakes aren't your thing, they offer a selection of tarts, salads and sandwiches as well - perfect for grabbing both lunch AND dessert!
Went on their second day of operation and their interior tables of hot pink certainly is wow factor. Had this matcha cupcake topped with sake frosting and chocolate fan. Very pretty looking and taste good albeit the matcha taste could have been further enhanced. This shop is rather hidden as they are located in the inner part of the Building along stretch of shops (cake spade, souper sarnies)
This cupcake is topped with lemon infused lavender whipping cream and white chocolate bar and varlhona dulcey pearls. Sadly, the earl grey taste is not distinct enough.
