Could this be the best thosai in town? Possibly! Amazing how they nail the crispy-on-the-outside and soft-on-the-inside texture all the time. Itβs already delicious on its own but when you fold the potatoes (stuffed in the thosai) with it, itβs heaven.
This masala dosa is not your typical dosa. Made with rice and black gram and stuffed with spiced potato. Itβs like eating dosa made with buckwheat flour but made more heavenly with a sprinkle of melted ghee. Sinfully mad!!!Best Indian roti Iβve had by far. OMG π±π±ππππππππ

Masala Dosa (thosai) is a South Indian dish from Bangalore made from rice and black gram into a crepe stuffed with spiced potatoes, laced with ghee and served with a side of green chutney and lentil sambar.

The masala dosa here was crackingly crispy, falling apart with the tug with the fork. The thin layer of dosa envelop dollops of spiced potatoes, which added a nice sweet savouriness to the dosa itself. The dish is pulled together with a drizzle of ghee. The dosa is best served with a mouthful of chutney or lentil sambar, but in all honesty, both are equally delicious. Definitely a must try.

From the peculiar but fascinating risotto-bisque-tasting Bisi Bale Bathe to the masala dosa (gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous texture with a crunchy exterior and pillowy chewy depth) to the benne dosa (butter. This is just butter. Butter is great. I love butter), we worked our way through a number of offerings and left with a much lighter mood than when we arrived. Although physically, we were significantly heavier. But hey, it's vegetarian so that means it's healthy right? .

True, we did have quite a lot of ghee. Can't help it when it helps elevate everything! Head over to Brickfields and try the dosa here, any dosa, all the dosa, and chances are you'll leave as happy as we did. Also, we have to return for the thali. The lunch set looks like killer value (check it out at @llemongrass). And also for the masala dosa, because have we already talked about how good it is? And also ALSO for the benne dosa because it's somehow, possibly, just maybe, even better? What a place.

This was amazing. The potato stuffing inside wasnβt heavy at all and the flour used here is slightly different from the plain dosa. In fact, it almost reminded me of the galettes or crepes in Paris. Really yummy. The coffee here is also amazing and I highly recommend their buttermilk. Kiddos loved the lassi.
