Signature Pork Chop Bun

$7.50 · 12 Reviews

Ordered the signature pork chop bun, pork chop with fried rice and the HK styled fried noodles. The pork chop bun was really quite disappointing - the ingredients and flavours are so disconnected. The buns are buttery and crispy but doesn't go well with the mustard sauce, pickles and pork chop. Everything tasted quite 'separated'. The HK styled noodles on the other hand, was so heavily flavoured and the wok hei was overpowering. The pork chop fried rice is the best among our orders:great balance of flavours and ingredients.

Happy CNY everyone :) To commemorate the year of the pig, here's Tsui Wah's Pork Chop Bun ($7.50++)! Not too bad, but the pork felt kinda dry. Would instead recommend their pork cartilage noodles instead if you're looking for a pork-based dish there .

$7.50 | The buns are crispy while the pork chop is slightly tough but acceptable and tasty!

Ordered the Swiss Wings, famous Condensed Buns and the Pork Chop bun. The star of the show has got to be the condensed buns, as they were crispy and the sweetness of the condensed milk was right on point.

The Pork is really on the dry side, nothing so special and fantastic about this at all.

Overall the experience is just so-so, I think it’s more probably just gonna be my only time here for the the hype of it. If I do crave for Hk, I would choose to either fly over or to go Honolulu instead.

Think it costs $12 or $14. Not worth it. Pork was dry, bun was hard, nothing fancy about it. 😐

Located at 3 River Valley Rd, Block A, #01-03 Singapore 179020. Tsui Wah Signature Pork Chop Bun, $7.50! Juicy, tender pork chop bun we had at Tsui Wah! #hungryunicornsg #tsuiwah #tsuiwahrestaurant #tsuiwahrestaurant翠華餐廳 #tsuiwahsg #porkchopbun

Braved the queue for an hour and a half past their official opening hour on their opening day to give them a try. While the Crispy Bun with Condensed Milk would work well as a sharing item across the table, this would be substantial enough for a light bite just for one. Liked how crisp the buttered bun was, while it comes lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and thousand island accompanying the pork chop in between. Liked how the pork chop was reasonably juicy, tender and had crisp edges without carrying a porky stench, while the pickles give it a zesty crunch and the thousand island providing a creamy richness to the entire item. While most Pork Chop Buns fail to create much of an impression by the end of the meal, Tsui Wah’s is done with a certain level of finesse that makes it rather memorable.

Blame it on the weather, but how can you resist tender pork chop, just a touch of char, with lettuce, tomatoes and mildly sweet thousand island(?) sauce between nicely toasted, fluffy buttered buns.
