One of the interesting creations at #HolyCrabsg! The inspiration for this unique creation comes from the pairing of hairy crabs with vinegar. The sauce โ a sour, sweet and savoury concoction of balsamic vinegar, red chilli and curry leaves โ goes well with the fresh, sweet crab meat.

Just found out there's this specialist crab restaurant at Tan Quee Lan selling crabs of all kinds of interesting flavours - green chilli, pepper with pink peppercorn, and the crowd favourite salted egg.

Their Balsamic Vinegar Crab is a bold flavour but works surprisingly well for me. The strong smell and taste of the vinegar really shines through that thick gravy with red chilli, with a balancing note of sweet and tangy flavor.
