Seabass Beetroot Risotto

We had the beetroot risotto, duck ragout parpadelle, bread with hummus and slow cooked chicken breast. Portions were quite small and I didn’t leave with full satisfaction, but everything tasted pretty good and was cooked to perfection. The desserts: Panna cotta, cheesecake and chocolate gateau was so good too!! I’d come back for more of ROOST.

This is basically the revamp of their sea bass with saffron risotto which is still my favourite.. Was pretty curious when I saw it has replaced it with beetroot risotto that I have to try it out again! Well it's a dish that never disappoints me as the sea bass was perfectly cooked and well seasoned, the fish was still moist and flaky yet the skin is crispy.. This pairing between the sea bass and beetroot risotto goes fantastically well as it doesn't over power one another yet the beet root was given the space to shine brightly with its earthiness that may reminds you of a surf and turf vegetarian style
