The gula melaka ice cream is light and not too sweet. It goes well with the soft and chewy waffles. The waffles is a little bland, but it makes the flavourful ice cream stand out. I’m not a fan of mochi, but this mochi tastes plain. I wouldn’t know it’s gula melaka mochi if I didn’t read the menu. The chocolate mikado sticks are my favourite, wish they had given more🥺

I thought it was astute of @wearesunday to involve many parties (media included) in market research for their NEW takeaway dessert menu that showcases creations of artisanal ice creams layered with handmade sweets and sauce, as well as a churro-waffles hybrid they’ve christened #Chuffles.
It was a privilege to be able to sample these and share my views in a google form for the team at #SundayFolks. Personally, I was very impressed by “The Secret Garden”, an Earl Grey Lavender flavoured ice-cream as it struck a great balance between the floral and tea fragrance. The pieces of lemon lavender cake and almond thins in there were a lovely addition. Would have this again in a heartbeat but I am sure the other two flavours from this collection (each priced at $18 for a pint) of “Treasure Island” (Dark Chocolate Ferrero) and “Yellow Brick Road” (Sea Salt Gula Melaka) are also wonderful. The soft serves are still pretty good, with a nice balance between sweet and salty for the sea salt gula, and a pleasant nutty flavour from the pistachio, although I wouldn’t consider it very strong. The waffle standards seemed to have dropped. The mochi toopjng is still delicious though!

🤔: First visit was bad, second was great, but this time wasn't that good either. Only recommend the sea salt gula melaka icecream.

Perfect dessert for any time of the day! The soft serve wasn’t too sweet, and the texture was just nice- not too watery, firm enough. The waffle was freshly baked and the chewy chocolate mochi bits on the side was a nice touch to compliment the sweet treat. Good to share!

$11.50++ for soft serve ice cream + single waffle // might b a little pricey for the size, but it is well worth it!!! i swear out of all the waffles/ice cream places i’ve been to, this one still remains tops. intricately balanced ice cream flavors, perfect combination of creamy and icy (so that it isn’t too rich but also not too watered down) and crispy/fluffy/sweet waffles. legit major yumz. got the sea salt gula melaka and earl grey lavender ice cream today and both were 💯💯💯
