Scrambled Eggs on Toast

I come to ronin every so often (as the title indicates) and it’s kinda a hit and miss with the scrambled eggs. I used to think the scrambled eggs were like the best in Singapore because it was runny like the Gordon ramsay style (if you know you know). But these days, it’s only like that half the time. Mushroom, bread and drinks are still good tho.

The scrambled eggs here are really creamy and well done - but yet I feel that this dish as a whole wasn’t particularly mind-blowing. The toast was pretty boring and the portobellos weren’t the tastiest - but I must still say i love that Ronin is pretty value for money for brunch in town, and I’d still recommend it.

Are they the best scrambled eggs in Singapore? Nah. Quite good - needs more seasoning - although not the best. The scrambled eggs are creamy with a tofu like texture but rather bland. Just some more salt and pepper would have helped greatly. The toast are well toasted and are decent bread.

Added wilted spinach for a balance diet (carbs+protein+fibre right) and I think they don’t really go well with the other components. Basically boiled spinach with salt.

The portions are huge, filling and reasonably priced (nett) for cafe food. I prefer their french toasts to scrambled eggs on toast.

Servers are very friendly. Very crowded and noisy on weekends so not ideal for big groups but quiet and dark on weekday. Good for solo emo time

You won’t go wrong if you go for the scrambled eggs here! Served with house made sourdough and seeded toast. The egg is smooth, buttery and creamy. Plenty of add on options if you are feeling ravenous!!

Second time here and Ronin never ceases to amaze me with their fuss-free, affordable brunch offerings. Average spend per person is likely $15 or so - I ordered scrambled eggs on toast with portobello and one flat white, and it only amounted to $15.50 after GST (no service charge - bonus points). The scrambled eggs are incredibly smooth and creamy and the juicy portobello mushroom was a dream. A classic brunch spot indeed.

It’s out of this world omg! 😍 cos scrambled eggs over all types of eggs for me and few places can ever get it right! Here for all scrambled eggs fix! 😋
Thanks for the recommendation! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

One of the smoothest, creamiest scrambled eggs I’ve had in Singapore. Goes well with the bacon. However the price is quite high for such a simple dish.

Ever wondered which cafe offers the best scrambled eggs? Head over here because they have the best ones I've eaten so far! The amount of sides I've added is kinda overwhelming though!

You get a pretty big portion, the eggs are really creamy, the portobello I added had chucks of salt in some bites, none in the other. Idk, are those chunks to be mixed in with my eggs? Lol. • • •
