Veggie Wonderland

Not cheap at all for a vegan dish. But this was 9/10 yummy, 10/10 for colour and variety. Unfortunately, my photo canโ€™t quite encapsulate the myriad of ingredients on this plate - there were scrambled eggs on sourdough toast, baby spinach salad and broccolini for greens, charred tomatoes, grilled halloumi (๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ), 2 huge portobello mushrooms (๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ) and half an avocado, thinly sliced. On the side, there was also beetroot bbq sauce that was tangy yet light and pretty much complemented everything. Ok la, although it ainโ€™t cheap, serving size was large and made me feel very satisfied without feeling sinful or surfeiting. The last bite... was once again difficult. It was initially a tough battle between the juicy shroom and the runny scrambled eggs. Eventually, the shroom took the crown of being that last bite ๐Ÿ˜Š

Delicious foods And coffee as well as great service! Had their veggie wonderland ($26) and it was delicious! Came with all sorts of vegetarian foods and my favourite halloumi cheese. Iced coffee was pleasant and Glad to see it came with a metal straw :))

They call it Veggie Wonderland (SGD26++), and I couldnโ€™t agree more! Every item on that plate was perfectly done. Absolutely loved it, especially their scrambled eggs! Very filling too!

The cafe was filled to the brim with western expats. My korean colleague who loves cafe-hopping likes the food and atmosphere a lot. I had the common man veggie wonderland while he had the rather interesting Mediterranean/Arabic inspired dish (which name I forgot) Portion was just right for a brunch menu, I was not overly filled or hungry after eating. Price-wise on the high side but you get what you pay for, the ingredients were very fresh. To me the Star was the unforgettable hot chocolate which left my tummy very satisfied :)

Starting my Saturday right with this wholesome brunch brightened by appetite-inducing colours in a cafe filled with uplifting vibes.
Pictured here are Sautรฉed Kale and Egg White Scramble [$19 + $7 grilled spicy chicken], Common Man Veggie Wonderland [$25], Common Man Full Breakfast [$25], Cappuccino, Flat White, Latte [$5 each] and Cold Brew [$8]. And my favourite? The Kale!
Both the food and coffee is good, and that explains the queue. And a tip from @luckykyut who makes the great coffee here - the best time to visit on weekends is at 3pm.

Nevertheless, a great place to chill and people watch...

This is for those who want something hearty AND full of veggies for brunch: the Veggie Wonderland ($25) that has two free-range organic eggs of yo' choice on sourdough (got poached because poached eggs are life), halloumi, spinach, grilled tomatoes, portabello mushrooms, sliced avocado w/ lemon & chilli!!!!! ๐ŸŒฟ

Healthy, filling and satisfying.

I have to say it's one of the best brunch meals I've ever had. It is nutritionally balanced for vegetarians, extremely yummy and worth every dollar. The halloumi cheese is to die for.

Other than the pita bread, everything else was on point ๐Ÿ™†๐Ÿป Especially that haloumi cheeeeseeee
