Food was a lil on the pricier side relative to other cafes.
Portion sizes was a lil on the smaller side.
Cafe was well furnished and pretty tho.
Overall, there was nothing very praiseworthy bout the dishes.

One issue was that the sourdough wasnโt on point. ๐ฉ
It tasted as tho it was prepared and toasted ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐น๐ in the day and they just served it upon customer order, and wasnโt freshly toasted. โน๏ธ maybe because itโs a really busy Sat so they had to pre cook everything but still...

Dish composed of braised ox cheeks and two poached eggs sittin atop a slice of sourdough bread.
Cheeks were tender and nice. Itโs a real pity because the bread & hollandaise sauce were meh and didnโt manage to accentuate and elevate the beef cheeks.
P.S. Recommend not checking out this place unless youโre feeling rich.
Donโt think the food nor the atmosphere justified the amount spent.

Lacking the nest of rocket leaves... the dish was alright, nothing too amazing. Is it worth $24?
With two poached eggs on top of tender braised ox cheeks and lightly toasted artisanal sourdough toast.
These eggs oozed, and Oh-my-goodness, the combination with the rich melting tender-licious cheeks makes Common Manโs version a class of their own. After taking the first bite, I told myself โThis is possibly one of the best eggs ben I had in Singaporeโ - 26S$

Eggs benefict ($24)-i prefer having english muffins as a base, but the sourdough is good. Egg is runny, rockets are nicely dressed, the braised ef gives a unique take on the benedict. Pretty good 4.25/5
