And tho initally dizzied by the limitless array , I made up my mind to begin with my favourite dish:
✨@ramen_keisuke 's Lobster Broth Ramen!!😍 And ya - b4 you even ask - it DOES live up to expectations, even if it's just the "tasting" portion from a lil' pop-up stand!! The moment your tongue touches the broth, it's a full-on umami mouthgasm from the thick, silken and rich brininess👅💦 Almost like the essence of an entire lobster is encapsulated in each gulp. Oh, AND don't skimp out on the Ajitama with its oozy-goozy hellfire-orange yolk!!
🍜
No Singapore food fest is complete without a contemporary version of our national dish, i.e.: CHILI CRAB🦀 We're lucky enough to have TWO variations, and I must say,✨ @caskandbangers 's crispy Waffle Fries & Chili Crab Dip really stole my heart. Unfortunately for my tablemates, I picked 'n' dipped till my hand grasped thin air and i realized...oops, I'd eaten everything😂
🍜
Whazzat, you want more asian recommendations?? Well, idc if you're bursting from the mad ramen carbs, you gotta make space for ✨@swissotelmerchantcourt 's KB Pao w/ Pork Floss (as if there isn't already enough 🐷-goodness)!!! The meat is oh-so tender, it's like biting into a weightless cloud that melts into complex, intermingling flavours that linger on your tongue😍 Aiya, now i regret just getting one portion!!
💕Also if I haven’t mentioned, incredibly delighted to have gotten the chance to meet many other kindred spirits (who love food as much as I do😭💕) & to have caught up with old foodie friends!! Muacks y’all & to @clarkequaysg 😘

[New Restaurant Opening Soon] Chef of the Year for World Gourmet Summit 2018, Angus Chow @anguschow1982, has started his own restaurant. And I know of many people who's as excited as me about this new opening.
🔸
I visited with 9 other colleagues and friends to do a tasting as part of the R&D process, and we were impressed with the lineup of food we had tasted. This whiskey-flamed chicken had very tender flesh as it has been marinated and milk-brined before flamed with whiskey. I can only imagine how each dish would be perfected when he has completed the R&D.
🔸
But we already know about the stellar dishes he created when he was Head Chef at Boruto, which scored Best Restaurant in two consecutive years in 2017 and 2018. For this restaurant, expect Japanese cuisine influenced by European cooking techniques.
🔸
I'll update you all again when he's ready to open his restaurant to the public and to the media. It could be really soon.
$8 Highballs (like in Tokyo!) and $6 if you order snacks at the pop up. Flavours range from mango, lychee to Kiho grapes. Let the Bartenders entice you with your favourite highball! My personal favourite, the strawberry and Lychee (because I love Lychee!).
You may be surprised to find out that more than 20 eating outlets are opened for lunch. $10, $15 and $25 lunch promotions? One for One?
Serious. Great deals, wallet-friendly and popular amongst office executives.
If you are still hesitating, Clarke Quay’s newest “No More Monday Blues” and wider selection of wallet-friendly “$10 Lunch” sets will get you headed down.
