Hiding out at air-conditioning eateries to beat the heat. โค๏ธ the laid-back vibes and competitive pricing of their rice bowls.
Ordered the assorted bowl topped with slices of tuna, salmon, swordfish, scallop, surf clam with pickles, pickled ginger, jellyfish and wasabi on the side.
Whatโs hidden beneath the sashimi is their signature truffle rice with chopped mushrooms, tobiko and furikake [a.k.a. Japanese rice seasoning]. Yums!

[โจNEW OUTLETโจ] Good news for westies ๐
Famous for their affordable truffle rice bowls, Chirashi King Kong is now available in the West! We visited the new outlet at sunset way today on their opening weekend.

With a layer of torched mentaiko sauce and aburi salmon, this is a must try for mentaiko lovers! The signature truffle rice is mixed with fish roe for a burst of flavour in every bite. Enjoyed the marinated jellyfish too!
My only gripe is that the portion is on the smaller side, so might have to add on more carbs/ingredients.
Limited bowls daily, the sliced rib eye beef bowl came topped with an onsen egg ๐
Chirashi King Kong is known for their Japanese rice bowls that comes at wallet-friendly prices and they didn't disappoint! As a westie, I'm glad that they opened an outlet at this side of the island for a more convenient chirashi hunt ๐คญ
Since the outlet is new, we did see a steady stream of customers near lunch time (though nowhere as crowded as the other outlets). Would be back to revisit!
