The skin is really fresh and the sweet and savory sauce really enhanced the entire dish. But the amount of prawns was quite pathetic.
But still quite a good choice for a light breakfast.
Second time having it and we made sure to dine in this time(avoid the crowd, the food takes rlly long cos there's people taking away multiple packets it's really annoying)
It's really good when you have it fresh instead of taking away, the voluptuous sticky skin stands out and the chili was umami too.
This was our favourite dish during lunch here at the new Get Together Coffeeshop. The cheong fun was soft and smooth but not mushy, and even had a nice slight chew to it. Sauce wasn’t too sweet and the char siew came in a good portion to go around! Would get this again next time - they have Plain, Prawns, Mushrooms and You Tiao fillings too.
Ya the texture is pretty good, it's not too thick and there's a soft stickiness to it. The sauce is rlly light tho, but the chili is strong.
Overall it's pretty good but the queue can be ridiculous as they take v long to make
