CHAGEE (Funan)

Generous amount of fruits in this cup of Oolong tea which truly surprised me. Oolong flavour was delicate, but came out very strongly amidst the fruity flavour which I absolutely appreciated. As the sugar levels for this is fixed, you only have the option of no sugar or yes sugar. According to the staff however, a bit of syrup seems to be involved already, so I went with the no sugar option. Indeed, there was already a slight sweetness to this drink and I’d think any sweeter it would be too much! Nonetheless, it’s always good to have more options than none, but I’d recommend this on a hot day when you need something to cool down, or if you’re looking for a 2-in-1 refreshing drink and healthy snack (so many fruit chunks omg).

Tried their Forever Spring Oolong Tea ($4.90). It comes with a cheese foam on top.

This shop is pretty serious about their tea and there are no toppings available!

The tea itself is fragrant, light and with a slight bittersweet aftertaste.

I am not a fan of cheese milk foam but this was surprising light, lightly salty sweet and enhances the overall taste of the tea.

Definitely will visit again.

They do have a small sitting area but it's always pretty packed.

Cannot remember what exactly I tried but I believe it was the rose/white (?) peach oolong milk tea. It was so good! Tea taste is strong and blends well. Do not be fooled by the long thin cup though, the drink is not fully filled which explains their short and thin straw. If you peel off the outer layer (which the staff will ask you to do so in order to redeem the free gift), you’ll see what’s actually inside!!!

Still one of the better milk TEA brands out there that have reached SG’s shores. Comparable to the standard of sanchen and TPtea!

Ordered the Green Tea Latte & Tangerine Pu-Er Latte, both 30%.

Humans find the tea aroma strong and its not sweet at all. They would order it again if theres no long queue!

For Singaporeans whom are not familiar with China, yunnan（云南) its famous for tourist hotpots such as lijiang and Shangri-la, this is a very popular tea joint in 昆明kunming City known for the super large cup and fruit infused teas. Very happy that they are here in 🇸🇬 Singapore, so that we all can enjoy the true authentic tea leaves from yunnan mountainous highlands. What you must try is the 花田乌龙 peach 🍑 oolong latte with real fresh milk, it has this natural fruity fragrance infused into the tea leaves, and every sip packs a 👊 fruity punch, blasting your taste buds.
The tangerine pu er latte 柑儒以沫 too, has a stronger tea taste that leaves a lingering aftertaste of 🍊 tangerines, with a tinge of sweetness, engulfing your senses.
