$3.50 for this cup. Nice creamy with a strong hint of Thai tea. They have the green tea and mixed flavour too at the same pricing. Packaged Thai tea are sold there so you can buy them home when you want a sip of Thai milk tea at your own comfort.
Queue is long during lunch hours but the staff moves fast. Approx waiting time around 10mins.
One up from their fragrant iced milk teas, Cha Tra Mue’s soft serves are the perfect solution to the scorching afternoon heat. At $3.50 per serving, the soft serves come in Original Thai Tea, Milk Green Tea, and Mixed flavours. Hence, having the mixed, you can get a mash up of the lighter and more floral profile of the Milk Green Tea with the robust Original Thai Tea. Though a tad icy in texture, the swirls do pack the distinct and exceedingly prominent tea flavour. And the best part is that the icy treat is intense yet not overly sweet.
Thought this would be the creamy sort of soft serve but it leaned more to the icy side. It’s not overly sweet but thought the tea flavours can be brought out a lot more!

People working in the science park area rejoice! This small little cafe serves Thai drinks and desserts such as the usual Thai milk tea, shibuya toast and now the soft serve ice cream. You'd be surprised by the snaking queue on a weekday afternoon.
I am a person who always go for the best of both worlds (you could interpret it as I am gluttony too hahaha), so I chose the mixed original Thai milk tea and milk green tea soft serve. Even before indulging in it, I could already smell the creamy Thai milk tea and a light jasmine flora aroma from the green tea soft serve. Surprisingly the soft serve wasn't too sweet which I enjoyed because I don't like overpowering flavors, but the milk green tea could probably have a slightly intense flavor. It was creamy hence filling, but melted pretty quickly too.
Oh and look, how apt is the tag line in the background! It wasn't an advertisement by Cha Tra Mue though.
A prelude to The Finest Thai held by the Royal Thai Embassy. Anyone else going tomorrow?
