🥵 featuring the Watermelon 🍉 Homibing
Within Skudai, next to Sutera mall. Good environment and chilling interior. We ordered the injeolmi, which exceeded our expectation in many ways. Generous topping of baked almond slices, grain powder and mochi. Shaved ice was the right texture which did not melt easily. Only downside was that the shaved ice was not infused with milk, so it's tasteless if eaten alone. Condensed milk was served on the side instead of evaporated milk which we will prefer more. Overall, great place with awesome bingsu at reasonable price!

We suspect that an entire mango (or maybe more) was cubed and decorated on the shaved milk mountain topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. With the favourable exchange rate now, this is definitely worth the money!

The place was packed when we reached at around 9pm, with one last table unoccupied. Shortly after we settled down, we saw a queue forming, how lucky!
The price of Bingsu here is very reasonable for the portion served. (Price range RM18.80-30.80) Tried the green tea bingsu, which went beyond my expectation. The mountain of matcha favoured shaved ice was soooo smooth (though it looks flaky), strong matcha taste with a slight bitterness after-taste. Additional crunchiness from the toasted almond slices. Red bean paste of the right sweetness and flakes of sun-dried dates. Finishing with a scoop of matcha ice cream just on top. The combination will make your taste bud explode!!
Pity there was no wifi available, but for the price and portion, we will be back very soon!
Also serves a variety if toasts, savoury snacks, coffee and tea!

The Mango Bingsu (RM 26.80) comes with a mountain of shaved milk, huge chunks of mango cubes, raisins, a cup of milk and a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream to complete this Korean dessert. Not necessarily at the most accessible location, but definitely an excellent choice for a hideout against the scorching sun outside.
