kudos to the Butter, can taste the richness of it and generously used, however will love it more if the layering is thinner
⭐️smoked yuzu donut ($6)
Had high expectations for this as burnt ends is famous for the smoked meat after all and yes it tastes like smoked meat 😶 which kinda overwrote the yuzu flavor - was very confused if its savory or sweet 😅

overall, i’m quite happy that it’s not priced ridiculously like another bakery in orchard🙃though it’s a branch off from the michelin award-winning @burntends.sg restaurant ‼️ There is open seating outside for breakfast takeaways which is great 👍 don’t mind coming back for more for another wkend or PH local escape ✌️

The best in SG. Soft fluffy pillowy doughnuts filled with Nutella and topped with sugar crystals. They definitely do not skimp on the filling, it was actually quite messy trying to eat these doughnuts but hey not complaining! 😛

Burnt Ends’ doughnuts for the weekend! If you’re as indecisive as me, they have the ‘Pick Your Own Doughnut Box’ where you get to pick 5 out of the 8 flavours. We went with the new Smoked Japanese Yuzu, Iranian Pistachio, Lemon Meringue, Nutella and Passionfruit.

Was very long ago when we last had these, and happy they were just as satisfying as we remember. Doughnuts were pillowy soft with a lightly sugared exterior, and what I liked best was that they aren’t as oily - so it’s much easier to enjoy more at a go!

The new Smoked Yuzu was such a nice surprise. It was generously filled and well balanced in both its sweetness and tartness, along with a pleasant smokiness. Not sure why though, but the lemon curd filling in the Lemon Meringue one was much less compared to the others. We pre-ordered our box and did the pickup from their Dempsey bakery & highly recommend you do this.
