Raw crab marinated with soy sauce. Director Ryu brought me here for dinner because he thought the places I've visited were too touristy!
Finally a traditional meal. According to the Koreans this is authentic and the others is just adapted for tourists so we were pretty excited. Simple menu of 4 items, we had the set for 4 pax at 69,000₩. First item was the ddeokgalbi (marinated beef ribs, with enoki and it was really good!), then spicy fish, not a fan of it cos there were too much bones, although it can be eaten. Heard that they put it in the fridge and take it out on and off for 3 days (no idea why). Lastly, raw crab in soy sauce so it was quite salty and barely masked the taste. But pretty interesting and the flesh was so translucent (friends who didn't like sashimi hated it so I had it all to myself). Best part was the crazy number of banchans!!!! And ended the meal with a cold barley drink that was really sweet to apparently cleanse palette.
