A beautifully crated croissant that is shaped like a couple's pillow; filled with a blend of yam, pumpkin and nian gao
.
To be honest, I couldn't really taste the yam and pumpkin flavours but I did get a huge slab of nian gao in this. So, nothing to complain about

This felt like more of a choux cream puff with raspberry cream filling. Perhaps one of the better theme items I had in BreadTalk

How do you make a pandan cake extra Singaporean? You slather gula melaka all over it. BreadTalk's new Pandan Gula Melaka Crunch comes with pandan chiffon cake covered in gula melaka cream and topped with gula melaka crunchy bits.
The pandan cake itself is sweet and fluffy with a nice pandan fragrance. The gula melaka cream is also sweet and aromatic with a hint of coconut. I do find that the combination of the pandan cake and the cream makes it a little too sweet for me, especially since the pandan cake on its own is sweet. However its still a pretty good cake for pandan and gula melaka lovers.
I still prefer the classic pandan cake from bengawan solo but this is a nice cake!
