Father in law recommended this and you know for the older uncles to like - it has to be cheap and reasonably good. This stall is nameless and just says Prawn Noodles on the signboard.

For me, the sauce and noodles went really well together. Not dry, just the right about of chili and shallots to add some texture. Nothing to shout about for the soup. For coffee shop standard, I thought the prawns were considered bigger than average. This is definitely of reasonable quality at 3.50, be prepared for at least a 20 min wait on weekend mornings.

My favourite kind of breakfast, hearty bowl of pork broth with silky kuey teow, and generous amounts of bar chor and fish cake. Pig liver cooked just on point, with the right crunch. Topped with braised mushrooms mixed with the soup. Can’t tell you how much you’re missing out on this one.

I have found another favorite claypot rice to eat!

This is a seriously underrated store in the middle of Bukit Batok. The rice is fluffy and nice to bite into, while the chicken is suitably tender. While I prefer the sauce to be thicker and more flavorful, the chilli sauce at this store is the best I have eaten thus far! Definitely would travel to Bukit Batok for this!

This place makes both savoury and sweet pancakes. Mine was the traditional peanut:) 283 Rojak And Pancake
