On a family road trip in Hokkaido 5 years ago, we stood in line for 3 hours for a bowl of butadon. it was without a doubt the best butadon I have ever had in my life. We carried a couple of bottles of marinade back which we hoarded like gold to the last drop.
Mark got us a bottle recently so the mother thought we try it again. We didn't manage to get Japanese pork belly or marinade it in the sauce (it's precious remember) but as a glaze this was just so goooood.
