- Fully packed with shredded chicken though slightly dry and tasted one-dimensional after awhile, would prefer the pork.
- Noodles were springy and slippery slurpy 🍜
- Soup was layered with numbing spicy and sour umami Sichuan flavours with roasted soybeans and pickles for the extra tanginess!
- Smothered in spicy savoury sauce with a kick, although I usually prefer it more vinegary
- Mushrooms were chewy and slightly spongy, absorbing the gravy well, my personal favourite 😋
- Reminded me of tandoori spices, very flavourful!
- Generous amount of pulled pork with a slight earthy spiced flavour!
- I liked how the meat was tender but not fatty.
- Super soft and jiggly with chopped peanuts and soybeans for textural contrast!
- Lighter on the palate to wash down the heavy flavours of other dishes or choose to add the chilli oil packet for spiciness 😌
