Time to chillax! Opted for this B&C outlet at Clementi Arcade with a quiet charm. Randomly picked a savoury item from a selection of light bites like quiche and pie exhibited at the counter. Overall, decent fare; nothing quite out of the ordinary to shout about. If you’re looking for a light bite in-between meals, this is a convenient choice.
P.S. l’ve been trying to find the title of this song [that I remember hearing back in the mid-Nineties] for more than two decades. 🫶🏻

Located in Clementi Arcade, just in front of Cold Storage, this bakery is convenient for a quick break before or after grocery shopping (that said, I dapaoed my pastry)
The prices match the vibe of the shop (fairly high) but the pain au chocolate was much bigger than most, which lessened the pain of my wallet. The pastry was flaky and buttery and the chocolate was just right in terms of sweetness. My only ‘complaint’ would be that the amount of chocolate relative to pastry was fairly little and I would have preferred to have chocolate in every bite.
Still, I will be coming back to try more.
Must say this is really pure bliss; the donut didn't feel too oily, dusted with sugar on the outside for flavour. The inside comes very well filled with creamy, aromatic and lightly sweet Vanilla custard which feels pretty premium, oozing out with every bite. Definitely a good tea time light bite with a cup of Flat White by the side.
