Amazing value at this unexpected find?? Bibimbap came piping hot in a sizzling claypot, topped with carrots, seaweed, cucumbers, beansprouts, marinated chicken and a sunny side up hiding a load of gochujang sauce underneath π€€π€€ An even more budget version will be the non-claypot bibimbap ($6) but why forgo the nice charred rice bits at the bottom ππ Love that this comes with free flow kimchi and Korean cucumber salad, as well as seaweed soup for a nice wholesome meal. Tried the ginseng chicken too, which tasted more like a Chinese soup and wasnβt too cheap, but at least portion of chicken was very generous. To manage your expectations, the food is good for the price and definitely is a more Chinese take on Korean cuisine? A pleasant find after walking past this unassuming little stall within Junction 8βs food junction, and will definitely be back when I need my next cheap Korean fix ππ
Tried the chicken and vegetable stew instead of the usual bibimbap at my favourite Korean place! The soup was spicy and sweet and the chicken was soft. As usual, the kimchi is one of the best I have ever eaten :)
The best Korean food in the whole of Singapore in my opinion. The kimchi here is the best, the right amount of spice and sweetness and whatβs more itβs free flow with any order. Had the bibimbap this time and the gochujang was really delicious and the best part of the dish was the runny egg yolk in the fried eggππ I just wish they would have given me more rice to polish up the yolk and the sauce.
