(Dec '15) Before Atlas Coffeehouse, there was Assembly nestled along the stretch of Evans Road. If you've been there before, I'm sure you'd know that one of the highlights of their menu was their Earl Grey Waffles with vanilla ice-cream and caramel drizzle. Quality stuff, as far as I can recall. Also, I must say that I'm quite impressed because this picture was untouched when I found it in my gallery.
Great place for hanging out with friends and a good ol' cuppa. The beans are imported so it's quite authentic.
We had the salted caramel waffles and the chocolate strawberry waffles, both priced at $12 each. They were really good and the waffles were crispy but fluffy on the inside. I enjoyed both waffles but I definitely liked the salted caramel waffles a lot more! However, you have to walk a bit if you're getting here by public transport.
Relatively affordable, light and fluffy with a yummy earl gray flavorπβ¨

This was more like deep fried buttered toast. At first I enjoyed it, with the fragrance of the butter, tartness of the Greek yogurt, and sweetness from the vanilla ice cream. However, it became too heavy on the stomach and a chore to chomp on the crispy toast. Recommended to share with a lot of people.
