Finding the ideal balance between the dense richness of a New York cheese cake and the pillowy texture of the Japanese variant, its the type that satisfies the craving without leaving you feeling sick.

Personally I found the crust a bitttt sweet but I don't have a massive sweet tooth so it's probably just me, besides it's just a thin layer so it was really no issue. The rest of the cake on the other hand was done to Japanese precision😋😋😋

Thanks @becseu for the fabulous recommendation!🤗 will be back.
Trying out this 2-month old @amiralatelier with Japanese Strawberry Tart ($10.50) with layers of frangipane, azuki and pastry; Matcha Brownie ($6.80) with a layer of chocolate and Eclair Raspberry Yuzu ($7.50) 😋
New pastry shop that's hidden in one corner of Paragon, just opposite Starbucks. Pretty minimalist space with an open kitchen concept as you'll watch the pastry chefs crafting delights. Fig and Smoked Chocolate are two eclair flavour on display that day. Interesting to see the purple fig dessert but sadly choux was a tad dry and while the fig cream has mild sweet taste I don't foresee myself paying for this again.
The light and refreshing tea carries just a hint of citrus-sy touch which works great for those who dislike the usual heaviness of Earl Grey tea — comes with a very clean finish that pairs very well with the heavier desserts such as the Chocolate Mousse Cake in the background.
Oh my so yummy I‘d come back for more! Look at my highlight to see what they‘re offering 😋
