Portion generous for the tender pork soup and they keep filling up the soup. Reasonable price.

Additional minced pork 😂😂😂 and they are using bak kut teh soup plus it can be refillable!

Enriched with crispy pork lard and oil. You won't be sorry for the strong pork lard taste and the calories gained! This noodle is way better than the main dish, Bak Kut Teh!

Paid: $5.50. Tastes like: $5.50. Review: This bowl of noodles is cleverly hidden amongst the piggy stuff (bak kut teh). But don't be fooled! The noodles here are springy and smooth, and that generous portion of minced meat and pig organs pack a formidable punch to any seasoned noodlers. Not exactly the cheapest but I'd say it's definitely one of the better alternatives in Hougang central. Give them a try if you drop by (maybe at the next WP rally when we get visitors ;D)

A slightly different BCM. To me, it's more like the Taiwanese braised meat noodles. The noodles are a little overcooked. I guess it's saving grace is the braised minced pork as well as the chilli sauce. And oh, here's a cheapo tip from my dad if you would like to feed a party of 2 for the price of 1. Order the signature BCM, ask for additional minced meat and order rice on the side. Then tadah, you have enough food for 2!

Serving up Teochew style peppery Ba Kut Teh, Ah Seng has only opened for a week or so and it has drawn quite a huge crowd. Sadly, it was a no-go for me. While the soup was peppery enough, it still tasted bland (think peppery water). The 'fen chang' (pig intestines) were properly cleaned but the dark sauce it was cooked in tasted just meh. The preserved veg and minced meat omelette was just average. Was it worth the 45mins wait? No. This table for 4 costed approximately $36.
