This place has amazing Chwee Kueh , n also Bubor Terigu which is hard to find nowadays .

It’s rare to come across a stall in a hawker centre that sells both Chwee Kueh and local desserts together; what’s more intriguing is that most of the folks here whom are here on a weekday morning at 10am are not exactly ordering their Chwee Kueh, but instead are ordering their iced desserts — a rarity considering the fact that Asian culture does not really approve of having cold desserts in the morning.

Given I am still on a hunt to look for stalls serving ice jelly as-is without all the gimmicky fruit cocktails and other condiments, the Attap Seed Ice Jelly stood out for me (I know, I know; cheating a little here) considering how the item comes with just shaved ice, ice jelly, sugar syrup, lime and Attap Seed. Attap Seed lovers will really love this one for the generous amount of Attap Seeds coming with this one — provides for quite a chew and a slight sweetness to the dessert in general. My heart still lies with 安记香滑纹头雪 at Chinatown Complex Market for their clean rendition of the Ice Jelly; the version here lacks the layering and is slightly less sweetened with coarser chunks of ice, but this does make for a respectable substitute overall.

Still, I am quite intrigued to actually give their Burbur Terigu and Chwee Kueh a try; the former being somewhat of an uncommon find, while the latter seems to be painstakingly made in-house for they seem to have the metal cups used in the process of making the steamed rice cakes in the stall. A very interesting find in a hawker centre located in a sleepy neighbourhood!
