No doubt this is something already done by its competitors, but it is interesting to see Ah Huat White Coffee expanding beyond its primary business. In their cafe, expect Ah Huat White Coffee being served and constant reruns of their iconic advertisements on the TV mounted in the dining area. Serving local classics like Curry Chicken and Hong Kong style dishes such as Noodle Soup, most dishes are average, but do try their Baked Rice which is pretty unique to themselves especially with its wok hei. If you are in for tea and looking for some cakes to pair with Kopi, you would be glad to find a variety of cakes supplied from online bakery Cat and The Fiddle, including the Yuan Yang Cheesecake. There is also a second outlet in the west situated at Bukit Batok HomeTeamNS for those residing in the west and would prefer to head to an outlet closer to home.

These were tiny but they were fried to crisp which crunches with every bite! The insides were well-filled with Durian Paste, though it feels a tad artificial because the paste is pretty smooth. Nonetheless it is pungent in taste, and should do just fine for durian lovers.

Probably the best dish we had at Ah Huat Cafe. While most other dishes were mediocre, the Baked Rice was pretty solid. Not only there was ample cheese covering up all parts of the bowl, the cheese was stringy as well with each pull. Chicken cutlet was also generous in portion. Even better was the rice; not only was it smothered in tomato-based sauce for a tang, we could taste that wok-hei that's evident in fried rice dishes. The item to go for if you ever visit Ah Huat Cafe!

Curry was flavourful as the taste of spices seemed evident, but seemed short of coconut milk to make it really thick. Chicken was tender, while the potatoes were cooked till soft.

Soup base was kinda light, with a really short hint of sweetness within that's not really detectable. Noodles were a wee bit alkaline, and portions seemed a bit miserable. Quite average, though kinda comforting to have on a cold day.

Made from their famed 3-in-1 mix, but you wouldn't get the cocoa art if you were to make one at home! Can't compare to the instamix version because I hadn't tried theirs before, but this cup was pretty thick in its flavour, with its sweetness well balanced out.
