Pretty darn good local food I must say. They are serving Katong Style Laksa, Curry Chicken & Banana Leaf Otah here at @AhBuiCurry.
Midweek lunch at an unexpected location in the new mall - One @ Kent Ridge at NUH Medical Centre. Spotting traditional Chicken Curry, Prata and Katong Laksa on the menu of a food kiosk called AH BUI'S CURRY HOUSE.
Quirky name for a modern establishment by a young and talented owner who's isn't Ah Bui (Fat) at all. What's terrible is that he's so much leaner than me lol.
Food wise, small bowls of laksa each cost $4 and regular bowls for $5. If you're nearby NUH or working around One-North craving for grandma inspired local delights, this is an ideal place for a quick meal or a takeout. By the way, Llao Llao's close by too and there's no queue here.
